Getting started
How to get started
Every customer starts with a conversation about their work. We learn how your team works today and recommend one first step. You don't need a plan or a budget for it.
What we ask
Three questions we ask
- Which tasks does your team repeat by hand most often? The answer is usually the best place to start.
- What can your current systems not do that they should? The gap often shows whether to buy a product or have software built.
- If you could have one system that did it all, what would it do? The answer shows where the first step should lead.
Choosing the first step
How to choose the first step
Does the task have one owner? One person is responsible for it and can say whether it was done well.
Does it happen regularly? With a weekly or monthly task, you see quickly whether the new software helps.
Can the result be checked? One report, one screen or one number tells you whether it went well.
Does it use only one or two systems? The fewer systems a task reads from or writes to, the sooner the new software is in use.
If two tasks pass all four questions, start with the one your people would most like to stop doing.

What to bring
A spreadsheet, a report or a description of the task is enough. You leave with a recommended first step, or a clear answer that nothing we offer fits. The first step may be a product we sell or custom software a development partner builds for you.
